On October 9, 2008, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) published a notice in the Federal Register regarding the Notice of Acceptance for Docketing of the Application and Notice of Opportunity for Hearing Regarding Renewal of Facility Operating License No. DPR-43 for an Additional 20-Year Period for Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc to operate the Kewaunee Power Station, Docket No. 50-305. The present license expires December 21, 2013
A state has the right to intervene in such a proceeding, without proving that it meets the standing requirements of NRC.
