Commission approved Wisconsin Public Service Corporation’s community based pilot plan

On July 1, 2009, Wisconsin Public Service Corporation (WPSC) submitted its Community Based Pilot plan, the Focus on Energy implementation plan for territory-wide initiatives, and the Focus on Energy territory-wide evaluation framework. These documents were filed to comply with Order Points 1 and 3 of the Commission’s April 22, 2009, Order in docket 6690-UR-119. The city of Brillion was chosen as the first pilot community. Rate options were finalized for the first community. The energy efficiency offerings to be available in the pilot communities were identified and implementation plans developed. An implementation schedule and an acceptable budget were developed for the community pilots. An evaluation contractor has been selected and the evaluation framework developed.
